MECHANISM MAPPING OF SINTERING UNDER AN APPLIED PRESSURE.
Abstract
Pressure sintering maps are constructed defining the regime of dominance of each mechanism and the net rate of sintering or the time to reach a given density. The maps have practical value in interpreting data and in designing sintering schedules.
