Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (URANS) modelling of turbulent flow in a twin rectangular sub-channel geometry

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a numerical research that is carried out to predict the turbulence structure in compound rectangular channels using an Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes(URANS) based turbulence model. The studied geometry is a twin rectangular sub-channel. The simulations are performed for two different mesh structures.
