Position sensorless control of switched reluctance motor based on numerical method
Abstract
In this paper, a new position sensorless control method for switched reluctance motor drives is proposed. Rotor position is initially calculated based on the flux linkage-position-phase current characteristics by numerical method. Then, a third-order phase locked loop considering the acceleration variation is designed to undermine the impact of current sampling noise and numerical residual error on the estimated rotor position.
