Trends and progress in optical wireless communications
Abstract
Free-space optical communications has been of interest for many years, however, there remain theoretical and algorithmic challenges in its implementation. In this paper, I describe recent trends and results from our research in advancing the modelling and information theory for free-space optical channels in space and in scattering environments.
