MULTIPARAMETER SENSITIVITY PROBLEMS IN NETWORK THEORY

Abstract

A survey of the pertinent literature is presented. A critical appraisal is made of several multiparameter sensitivity functions, and the problems involved in their computation are considered. Several procedures for their evaluation are described, with attention focused on the auxiliary network approach of J. V. Leeds and G. I. Ugron, and the adjoint network approach of S. W. Director and R. A. Rohrer. A%nother approach considered is the so-called direct approach, in which an algorithm is used to obtain directly the partial derivatives of the network function.
