Nonlinear least squares techniques for solving array antenna processing problems

Abstract

This paper discusses the theoretical development of the nonlinear least squares algorithm and demonstrates its applicability to array processing problems. The technique is applied to the low-angle tracking problem in Radar using computer-simulated data, and has been found to yield very good results.
