Neural network-based noncoherent radar processor for a chaotic ocean environment
Abstract
An artificial neural network based on a multilayer perceptron has been developed to offer improved target detection in sea clutter using a noncoherent radar system. The processor significantly reduces the sea clutter component in each scan, providing a suitable input for a multiscan tracking processor.
