Model reconstruction of chaotic dynamics: first preliminary radar results
Abstract
The authors briefly review the use of a random process and a dynamical system as mathematical models in the context of radar clutter. Experimental results are summarized for the correlation dimension of sea clutter, which provides an appropriate estimate for the embedding dimension of the process.
