Message from the ACSD 2011 Conference Chairs

Welcome to the 11th International Conference on Application of Concurrency to System Design (ACSD 2011). ACSD is a forum for the development of leading research in concurrent systems, where the synergy between theory and practice is explored. The motivation of this conference is to tackle these problems in industry where a formal perspective is mandatory for deploying a satisfactory solution. This year ACSD takes place in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, and is held in conjunction with the 32nd International Conference in Application and Theory of Petri Nets and Other Models of Concurrency (Petri Nets 2011).
