Reliability-based load factors for blast design - Supplement

Abstract

The supplementary material provided in this document includes the following: • Pressure-time history plots processed by following the proposed methodology for pressure data fitting; • Wavefront metrics (peak pressure, specific impulse, and positive phase duration) obtained from the processed pressure profiles; • Histograms of relative frequency associated with the three wavefront metrics investigated and probability density functions (PDF's) best fitting the data; • Characteristics of the fitted PDF's, including interval estimate for the distribution parameters, 95% and 99% percentiles; • Reliability-based load factors obtained from the estimated PDF's for reliability indexes associated with low, medium, and high level of protection; • Recollection of Matlab®functions used to perform the statistical analysis presented in this paper.
