Dynamic properties of asymmetric wall‐frame structures

Abstract An approximate method is proposed for evaluation of the natural frequencies and mode shapes of uniform asymmetric wall‐frame structures. An exact solution is first given for the case in which the coefficient matrix of the dynamic equilibrium equations satisfies certain conditions.
