A New ZVZCS Three-Level Inverter

Abstract

This paper presents a new ZVZCS three-level inverter with T-type structure. The proposed inverter can achieve ZCS on arm switches and ZVS on neutral point switches by series connecting the arm switches with resonant inductors and parallel connecting the neutral point switches with resonant capacitors. The proposed inverter can achieve a significant reduction in power loss dissipation. In this paper, the operation principle of the proposed inverter is illustrated. The performance of the proposed inverter is verified through Matlab/Simulink environment.
