Abstract

In this paper, improved online inter-turn fault detection methods are proposed in order to take into account some design specifications related to recent Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) topologies having modular stator combined with Fractionnal Slot Concentrated Winding (FSCW).
