Abstract
BACKGROUND: Ectopic upper-pole (UP) ureters in duplex kidneys can be managed surgically by ipsilateral distal ureteroureterostomy (U-U) with or without ureteric stenting. Evidence to support routine stenting during this procedure is lacking.
