Values, Preferences, and Decisions in the Care of Children with Developmental Disabilities

Abstract

This study compared values placed on functions relevant to the well-being of young developmentally handicapped children by parents, community members, and clinicians. Thirty-two (32) parents of developmentally handicapped children and 32 adult community members were sampled in this study. The results are reviewed.
