Abstract
The effects of a mycotoxin, cyclopiazonic acid (CPA), on the contractile function of rat aortic smooth muscle rings were investigated to test the hypothesis that CPA selectively inhibits the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca(2+)-pump.
