Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOACs), which include dabigatran, apixaban, edoxaban and rivaroxaban, are preferred over vitamin K antagonists for stoke prevention in most patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.
