Some Observations on PPI Therapy for Bleeding Ulcer.
Abstract
Proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy improves some outcomes after peptic ulcer bleeding. Recent meta-analyses have consistently found reduced rates of rebleeding and surgical intervention but there has been some discordance about effects on overall mortality.
