Neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia: Spontaneous in utero intracranial hemorrhage
Abstract
Neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia is an uncommon but important cause of thrombocytopenia in infants. Because of the severity of the thrombocytopenia, some of these infants will have intracranial hemorrhage with resultant long-term disability.
