Fibroblast growth factor 23 and renal function among young and healthy individuals
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23), an osteocyte hormone involved in the regulation of phosphate metabolism, is associated with incident and progressive chronic kidney disease.
