UV Disinfection of Wastewater and Combined Sewer Overflows
Abstract
Municipal wastewater contains bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens that adversely affect the environment, human health, and economic activity. One way to mitigate these effects is a final disinfection step using ultraviolet light (UVL).
