Membrane-Accelerated Amyloid-β Aggregation and Formation of Cross-β Sheets

Amyloid- β aggregates play a causative role in Alzheimer's disease. These aggregates are a product of the physical environment provided by the basic neuronal membrane, composed of a lipid bilayer.
