Multi-Vector SVM: A New Approach to Space Vector Modulation Control for Six-Phase Induction Machines

Abstract

In this paper, a new Space Vector Modulation (SVM) technique for Six-Phase Induction Machines (SPIM) is presented. The machine has two three phase stator windings spatially shifted by 60 electrical degrees and connected to a single neutral. The neutral point may be connected to the source or not.
