On-line Identification of PMSM Electrical Parameters Based on Decoupling Control

Abstract

In this paper, an on-line identification method of PMSM's electrical parameters based on decoupling control is proposed. Its practical implementation is very simple, especially in the case of a non-salient pole PMSM. A global stability study based on the second method of Lyapunov guarantees the convergence of the estimated parameters under certain conditions. The simulation results as well as the experimental ones illustrate the validity of the analytic approach and the efficiency of the proposed method.
