DNA Microarray Image Compression by Pipeline Architecture
Abstract
In this paper we present a new pipeline architecture for process, compression and transmission of DNA microarray images. There is an inherent delay in formation of DNA microarray images. The proposed architecture takes full advantage of this delay to perform image processing and compression. Low complexity hardware blocks implemented these steps.
