Heat transfer in the evaporator section of moderate-speed rotating heat pipes

Abstract

Experiments were performed to investigate the heat transfer mechanism in the evaporator section of non-stepped rotating heat pipes at moderate rotational speeds of 2000–4000rpm or accelerations of 40g–180g, and evaporator heat fluxes up to 100kW/m2.
