Characterization of Extruded Thermoplastic Starch Reinforced by Montmorillonite Nanoclay

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand how the montmorillonite (MMT) nanoclay influences physical and mechanical properties of thermoplastic starch (TPS), which was produced by a conventional extrusion procedure.
