Moisture control during landfill operation
Abstract
During the operation of a landfill, significant quantities of moisture may infiltrate the facility, with the infiltration volume dependent upon both soil cover design and operational practices. A simulation model has been developed to represent the construction of a landfill and the associated moisture control options.
