Charushree Prasad

Overview

Dr. Prasad obtained her medical degree at the Schulich School of Medicine at the University of Western, Ontario. She then went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at the IWK hospital (Dalhousie University) in Halifax prior to her Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto. Dr. Prasad is presently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Community Health: Health Practitioner Teacher Education from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto.
Dr. Prasad’s academic interests are in medical education, particularly in evaluating the effectiveness of curriculum delivery, and teaching methods in nephrology. She is also engaged in clinical and collaborative research within the areas of glomerular diseases, with current and past research projects in nephrotic syndrome and post-transplant recurrence of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.
