Theresa Kenney
PhD Candidate

Theresa N. Kenney (she/her/siya) is an ABD PhD Candidate and Teaching Fellow in the Department of English and Cultural Studies. Her research focuses on asexual, aromantic, and platonic intimacies within queer Asian North America. Her work can be found in Feminist Formations and decomp journal. In March 2022, she will be appearing in an upcoming documentary series on CBC Gem about sex and sexuality in Canada.

She holds SSHRC Bombardier Scholarship, is a former co-chair for the National Women's Studies Association's (NWSA) Asexuality Studies Interest Group, and is a current co-organizer of a diasporic solidarities themed conference in Canada.
