Dr. Karen Allison Bailey serves as the Division Academic Division Head and CTU Director.
She has been on faculty at McMaster Unviersity since January 1, 2010. She loves working as a surgeon educator and researcher.
She has clinical and research interests in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance, Research Ethics, Global Health, Pediatric Trauma & Trauma Prevention, Pediatric Obesity, Short Bowel Syndrome, Abdominal Wall Defects, the care of patient with Hirschsprung's Disease and Congenital Anorectal Malformations.
She also serves as the Vice-Chair for the Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board, providing reviews for student research projects in addition she serves as a reviewer on the main HiREB board panels.
