Hamilton Professor, Communication Studies & Multimedia
Robert Hamilton is a Professor of the Department of Communication Studies and Multimedia. His current interests are primarily around photography and video. Much of his work is a reflection on people and urban environments. His work explores how the public move, occupy and interact with their world.
His work as an artist has included video, audio, animation, photography, installation, sound and sculpture. His principal means of expression has involved time-lapse documentary photography with consumer quality equipment. He creates single-monitor and installation art works that are exhibited in galleries and festivals internationally.
