Dr. Yanbo Guo, MD, FRCSC, DRCPSC, is an attending surgeon in Urology and Renal Transplantation at St. Joseph's Healthcare and Hamilton Health Sciences, as well as an Assistant Professor at McMaster University. With advanced fellowship training in kidney and pancreas transplantation from the University of Western Ontario and residency in urology at McMaster University, Dr. Guo has expertise in managing complex urological conditions and life-saving transplantation procedures. He also holds a Masters of Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality from Johns Hopkins Univeristy.
His research interests span renal transplantation, uro-oncology, and surgical innovation, resulting in numerous publications in journals such as the Journal of Urology and European Urology, and research presentations at international conferences. Beyond his professional roles, Dr. Guo is committed to medical education and community outreach, exemplifying his dedication to advancing healthcare access and quality.
