Jenna Evans
Assistant Professor, Health Policy and Management

Dr. Jenna Evans studies multiteam systems and inter-organizational networks in healthcare using qualitative methods. She leads three inter-related streams of research on teams and networks focused on: (i) performance management, (ii) shared cognition, and (iii) organizational context and capabilities. She has a particular interest in the use of teams and networks to deliver integrated care to patients with complex needs.

Dr. Evans is a former scientist with Cancer Care Ontario and the Ontario Renal Network, where she studied performance management and evaluated new models of care. She is also a former investigator with the Health System Performance Network based at the University of Toronto. Her PhD from the University of Toronto was funded by a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Government of Canada and received an Outstanding Doctoral Research Award from the European Foundation for Management Development and Emerald Publishing.
