Josephine D'Abbondanza

Dr. Josephine D'Abbondanza is a Plastic Surgeon at St. Joseph's Healthcare and is an Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, at McMaster University. Dr. D'Abbondanza completed her medical training and residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto . In addition, she completed her Master of Science with the Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto. Dr. D'Abbondanza completed her fellowship training in microsurgery at the University of Manitoba and breast reconstruction at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. D'Abbondanza's areas of expertise include microsurgery, oncologic reconstruction (including breast and head & neck), breast surgery, skin cancer management, and general plastic surgery.
