Stephanie Carlin is a thrombosis pharmacist at Hamilton Health Sciences in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of Toronto in 2010, followed by a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2015 at the University of Florida. She completed a general practice residency, followed by a thrombosis fellowship, both at the University of Toronto. In addition to her clinical work, she is involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate pharmacy and medical learners and has published a number of thrombosis-related research projects. She sat on the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table Drugs and Biologics Clinical Practice Guidelines Working Group and has co-authored a number of practice guidelines, including “Heparin Anticoagulation for Hospitalized Patients with COVID-19”.
