Overview
Dr. Arden Azim is a Clinical Scholar in the Division of General Internal Medicine and internist at Hamilton Health Sciences. She is a Clinician Educator within the Division of General Internal Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine, McMaster University. Arden graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BSc in 2014, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto in 2016. She graduated from Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine with an MD in 2019, and completed both internal medicine residency and a fellowship in general internal medicine at McMaster University. She will graduate with a Masters in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University this year. Arden has held a position as the Interprofessional Education Lead at the Centre for Simulation-Based Learning in the Faculty of Health Sciences since 2019. Driven by her dual professional background, she has research interests in interprofessional education and simulation-based learning.
