Kjetil Ask

Associate Professor (Part-Time), Medicine

Dr. Kjetil Ask obtained his MSc from the University of Nancy (France) and his and PhD degree from the University of Burgundy (France). He completed post-doctoral work at McMaster University and at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute in Bethesda.

His research lab focusses on the elucidation of molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in fibrotic lung disease, target identification and modulation, using a translational approach. He is also involved in educational programs and is the founder and Director of the McMaster Demystifying Medicine Program.
