Harmonic Impedance Measurements on Transformers

Abstract

An experimental method using series resonant filters to measure the shunt path harmonic impedances of a transformer is proposed. Test results on a 7.5 KVA industrial transformer are shown and results are discussed to gain a better understanding of the harmonic behaviour of power transformers.
