Symptoms on Sorbent Dialysis Reversed by Conventional Dialysis

2 patients developed incapacitating progressive fatigue, weakness and upper gastrointestinal symptoms while on long-term Redy® sorbent dialysis. Dramatic and rapid improvement occurred when dialysis was changed to a single pass system. When a patient is doing poorly on Redy sorbent dialysis, consideration should be given to conversion to a single pass system.
