Abstract

Rashes are a common adverse event observed during antimicrobial therapy. Many rashes are mild to moderate in intensity, however some reactions can be the prelude to much more severe outcomes such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) or Toxic Epidermal Necolysis.
