Meta-analysis of sulfasalazine in ankylosing spondylitis.
Abstract
At present there is no widely accepted therapy for ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a progressive debilitating disease. The effectiveness of sulfasalazine in AS still lacks strong evidence, as well, the magnitude of its benefit is unknown.
