Heparin as an adjunctive treatment after thrombolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction
Abstract
The rationale for considering heparin therapy as an adjunct to thrombolytic treatment for patients with acute myocardial infarction is to prevent rethrombosis after successful thrombolysis.
