Nonlinear product property control in industrial gas‐phase polyethylene reactors

Abstract A nonlinear model‐based scheme is developed for product property control in industrial gas‐phase polyethylene reactors. The controller regulates instantaneous melt index and density, and provides servocontrol during grade changeovers.
