Muscle Phosphofructokinase Deficiency With Neonatal Seizures and Nonprogressive Course

Abstract

Muscle phosphofructokinase deficiency is known to cause childhood-onset exercise intolerance, muscle cramps, and myoglobinuria. Rarely, phosphofructokinase deficiency manifests in infancy as congenital myopathy and arthrogryposis with fatal outcome.
