Intensive Initial Oral Anticoagulation and Shorter Heparin Treatment in Deep Vein Thrombosis

In order to investigate whether a more intensive initial oral anticoagulation still would be safe and effective, we performed a prospective randomized study in patients with deep vein thrombosis.
