A qualitative descriptive study exploring intern selection processes in Canada.
Abstract
This presentation will review a qualitative study investigating how child life programs in Canada make decisions about prospective interns during the intern selection process. Factors that contribute to the decision-making process include the perception of "fit" that can be broken down into the categories of "fit for me, us and them".
