Nonthermal Ablation

There are several types of nonthermal ablation that have been used or are being developed for the destruction of tumors; these can be categorized into four subtypes that are shown in Table 32.1.For purposes of brevity, this chapter will discuss only those applications that are most likely to be used by surgeons as of this writing.
