Oral Anticoagulation Therapy After Acute Coronary Syndrome

Abstract

In this chapter, we review the rationale for using oral anticoagulation in patients with acute coronary syndrome, the evidence from randomized trials supporting their use in patients without and with a separate indication for anticoagulation, and practical aspects of the long-term management of patients receiving combination therapy.
