Green hydrogen production systems with insights from green Ammonia: A review and Data-Driven Techno-Economic and environmental Meta-Analysis

Abstract

This review paper provides information related to green hydrogen production systems with green ammonia as its early application. Large datasets are extracted from the academic literature, following a rapid evidence review approach, covering the utilized data for techno-economic assessment, including the cost and environmental impact of green hydrogen and green ammonia productions. The extracted data can be used to understand which data is used in green hydrogen production studies and which parameters how affect the levelized cost of green hydrogen. In addition, a semi-standardization method is employed to compare results from different studies and suggest a conceptual framework for standardizing environmental techno-economic-assessments of green hydrogen production systems. This conceptual framework can serve as a guide for developing a robust standardization methodology for eco-technoeconomic analyses of green hydrogen systems in future work.
